2 days and 1 night at Kelong Acheh, Penyabong, Johore
Trip to Kelong Acheh was my hubby's idea after he seen it on Majalah 3 sometime ago...after several attempts in several years.....at last, we managed to go there with my friend and hubby last friday night. We drove in 1 car from KL using East Coast Highway until Gambang and took local route to Pekan and then we proceed to Merchong, Tg Gemok and Endau. After that we took a kampung route to Penyabong. Then, we took a boat in about 15 minutes until we reached the Kelong.
Kelong Acheh is surrounded with small islands. The colour of the sea is green....and the kelong itself is unique because it is built on the sea. Kelong Acheh stands on 1,000 stilts made of kayu nibung. The rooms and platform are from wood and the roofs from daun nipah.
The rooms, staff service and food are excellent. However, it's quite sad because we did not manage to catch any big fish. Same with most of the anglers on the kelong. I make friends with several ladies from Singapore who are anglers ......we did karaoke together.....we really have happy time enjoying the scenery.....exchanging stories..... I really enjoyed staying there ....eventhough fishing is not my hobby

Nasib baik bawa kamera dapat juga tangkap gambar. Ikan sekarang dah pergi sekolah - tak teruja dek umpan dikail. Sebab tu la Pak Chik pun boleh kira pencen juga la memancing

Salam kak...sayo pun poronah nengok kelong aceh ni kek M3, tapi jauh bona lah nak poiee...kalau dari Soromban nak ikut jalan mano...apo namo tompek tu yo..daerah mano kek Johor tu...?
